Nick Power first started DJ’ing
professionally in 1980 at various clubs
in London. After joining London’s
Radical Radio, Kiss FM in 1985 as a
presenter, Nick’s exposure on Pirate
Radio broadened the area for DJ’ing to
the whole of the UK. His musical style
spans from playing US & UK Soulful &
Funky House to Funky Disco House & Old
Skool Club Classics. When Kiss FM became
legal back in 1990, Nick still remained
with them, and is still a major radio &
club player to this day.
Now as an Internationally renowned DJ &
Radio Presenter, Nick Power hosts The
Soul Kandi Radio Show on
SSRadioUK.com
every Saturday afternoon between
14.00-16.00 BST, and his own weekly 2
hour show, every Wednesday
08.00-10.00 hrs BST, on
UnknownFM.net,
which is broadcast live across London’s
airwaves & the World via internet
stream. Also in Tenerife – on Dance FM
106.7, Cyprus on Energy 107.6 FM, and
Valencia, Spain on Inerzia FM.
Other than his radio shows, Nick Power
has, and still does play in some of the
biggest and best clubs worldwide,
alongside other top DJ’s. His ability to
read a crowd and keep them entertained
is one of the things that keeps him at
the top of his business time after time
and is still highly praised and sought
after this day.
Nick Power’s Quote: “It’s all about the
music, and the way it’s put together”.
